August Burns Red sold 28,353 in the first week of sales. The highest selling metalcore record this year is still Asking Alexandria with over 30,000
Congrats to August Burns Red and Solid State Records with the recent release of Leveler which exploded onto Billboard’s Top 200 charts at #13, just outside the top ten and #1 Top Christian album. The Pennslyvania-bred Christian metalcore outfit sold 25,240 in their first week of release (June 21st).
ABR’s last two albums Messengers (2007) charted at #81 and Constellations (2009) at #24 with both debuting as the #1 on the Billboard Christian charts. Constellations has sold over 100,000 copies to date.

Alright, this is one for those moshers and hardcore dancers. Also for the people around the pits. But when you go moshing or anything like that and you see someone fall, please help them up. I have saw so many videos from this year warped tour and people come out bloody or in stretchers. YES it went to that during Asking Alexandria set. Also if someone is crowd surfing try and help them and don’t let them fall down on there butts or faces that is not cool. Another thing is don’t pick pocket them, it happened to my friends alot when they crowd surf and people try to dig through my pockets but i didn’t have anything. So if you are around the pits member to just stick the fist out and be careful not to get pushed in. Hardcore dancers keep doing what your doing, but dont be THAT DUDE trying to show off and hurt as many people as you can, i know its fun but it sucks when people start trying to show off and fight each other. So please do what you do, crowd surf, mosh, or hardcore dance but don’t try and hurt someone and have fun doing what you do.
