The Music Industry Today.
They are a band of the trend, no i am not saying this cause i am a troll or hardcore. I am saying this as a 17 year old who listens to every genre. I highly respect bands like August Burns Red, Man Overboard and Less Then Jake for what they do and bring to music. Black Veil Brides however, can write a album that is not good at all and is poorly rated by Absolutepunk. But Altpress gives it a 4 stars? That doesn’t make sense! The reason is Altpress uses them and the whole Black Veil Brides trend to make more money. All i see is Altpress cover the same bands over and over again. Black Veil Brides can seriously write a shit album and make millions, when bands like The Wonder Years, Man Overboard or Fireworks. Who have worked hard and spent countless hours traveling and trying to make it to every show. But some bands like Escape The Fate and their lead singer say his voice is hurt and cancel the whole show. But i see Soupy pour his heart out into the music he writes. He inspires me by telling my story. I listen to The Upsides every day, it is my album. It speaks of my sadness, it shares my life. Suburbia is amazing to, i am listening to it right now. I know you can’t compare the two genres but still, Black Veil Brides can make alot of money off shit albums. The Wonder Years can’t since Soupy isn’t like that lead singer of Black Veil Brides. But i have more respect for them as a band, i have respect for the bands that go out every day and work their hardest. I say Thank You for them working every day to make us happy and deliver an amazing album. That is my take Black Veil Brides doesn’t deserve Warped Tour, they have not done what The Wonder Years has done. They didn’t do what The Devil Wears Prada or Less Then Jake does. I AM HAPPY TO SAY DEFEND POP PUNK.
