Rant.

Honestly i don’t know why but it bothers me when people say “true fans” listen to the album on it’s actual release day. Okay so what if i heard the album earlier does that really matter? I mean like yes sure i heard it before it’s actual release date but still. Do not just say “true fans” are the ones that wait. NO. True fans are the ones that support the band in anyway they can. I mean i go to their shows, i buy merch and i buy the cd’s to. So if i hear the album before release date does that mean i am not a true fan? No it does not. I know The Devil Wears Prada worked hard on this album and spent alot of time on it, which is why when the album comes out i will buy it like a fan of their music does. Also on their headliner i will buy merch and support them in anyway i can. So don’t go saying i am not a true fan cause i heard the new The Devil Wears Prada album earlier, i continue to support them in anyway i can. That is how you measure a true fan by the support you give, not just by hearing an album on it’s actual release date. Be proud of being a fan of their music, go to their shows, buy merch and the CD if you do any of those you are a true fan! End Rant.

The Devil Wears Prada.

This is my rant on them and everything I have been hearing lately. First off is Dead Throne, so 3 songs have been released but some people don’t like it since there sound has “changed”. Okay it hasn’t changed it progressed, as musicians they want to push there selves to the limits. I feel like they exceeded that, Mike screams may sound different but that’s what he wanted so we must accept it. Now TDWP has breakdowns still but they just didn’t put alot of breakdowns they learned to limit it and also how to time them perfectly and that’s what bands should do instead of throw them in randomly. Also to the fans that are saying this is going to be a disappointing album well your wrong. I have heard nothing but good reviews and how this could be the album of the year. Now AOTY isn’t thrown out alot, so you know it must be good. 13 tracks and 41 minutes long is perfect. They are giving our moneys worth and also showing true skill as musicians and people. I respect TDWP to the highest amount. End Rant.

Music rant.

I’m going to try and clear my last statement up. So I’ve known alot of bands who focus on just putting breakdowns and making it heavy, since kids like that. But there are also bands with amazing lyrics but they don’t have good music to back it up. Then we have the perfect bands who use all the members to the fullest and are able to write that perfect song with great guitarwork, drums and also the singer/screamer are spot on. I have only seen a few albums I can consider for album of the year right now, they are like that since they know how to bring all the elements to the table I thank those bands for putting there heart into the music and the vocalist for leaving everything in the lyrics they write. End rant.
